Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of LGBTQ+ Chat, LGBTQ+ Chat, and related websites, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
The Service is intended only for adults who are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher). You represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. Your Account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep your profile information up to date where applicable.
- You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law, or our community standards.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload, share, or promote illegal content, non-consensual intimate imagery, exploitation of minors, or content that violates others' rights.
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, spam, or otherwise abuse other users or our staff.
- Attempt to bypass security, scrape or reverse engineer the Service, or interfere with its operation.
- Use the Service for fraud, money laundering, or unauthorized commercial solicitation.
- Misuse reporting, moderation, or payment features.
We may remove content, restrict features, or terminate access when we reasonably believe a violation has occurred, with or without notice where permitted by law.
4. User Content
- You retain ownership of content you submit, subject to rights you grant us to host, display, transmit, and process it to operate the Service.
- You represent that you have the rights necessary to post your content and that it does not infringe third-party rights.
- We do not guarantee storage or availability of any content; you should maintain your own backups when needed.
5. Virtual Items, Subscriptions, and Payments
- Coins, VIP status, unlocks, and similar digital items have no cash value outside the Service unless we explicitly state otherwise.
- Purchases are processed by third-party app stores or payment providers; their terms also apply.
- Except where required by law or store policy, fees are non-refundable once consumed or delivered.
6. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to those practices.
7. Account Deletion
You may delete your account from the app (Settings or Edit Profile). Deletion requires password confirmation. When deletion completes, your account and associated personal data are removed or anonymized as described in our Privacy Policy, subject to limited retention where the law requires. This action cannot be undone.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLUE VIDEO AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100, UNLESS APPLICABLE LAW REQUIRES OTHERWISE.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the effective date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law.
